This Privacy Policy describes how My Days ("the app") handles information when you use it. My Days is a calendar and historical-events app that uses Google's Gemini AI to generate content about selected dates.
When you tap on a date, the app sends the following to the Google Gemini API:
No personal information (name, email, location, device identifiers, or account data) is collected, stored, or transmitted by the app.
The date and language are sent solely to generate AI-produced historical and astronomical information about that date. The response is displayed to you and is not stored or logged by the app.
The app uses the Google Gemini API to generate content. Data sent to this API is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. The app does not use any other third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
My Days does not maintain any servers that store user data. No account is required and no personal data is retained after you close the app.
My Days can optionally send you a daily local notification with a highlight about the current date. This notification is scheduled entirely on your device using Android's notification system — no data is sent to us or to any third party to enable it, and no push-notification server is involved. You can enable, disable, or reschedule this notification at any time from the app's Settings, and you can revoke the notification permission from your device's system settings.
Your notification preferences (whether notifications are enabled, the scheduled time, and the type of content you'd like to see) are stored locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted to us or to any third party, and is deleted automatically if you uninstall the app.
The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "last updated" date.
